Job Purpose
- Supervise rigging and lifting activities and execute all tasks associated with rigging and lifting to support all company facilities onshore & offshore, onsite, and offsite to the highest levels of safety, quality, integrity, and reliability to achieve optimal operating reliability targets.
Key Job Accountabilities - I
- Supervise the rigging and lifting activities for optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety, seamless execution and monitor the activities are meeting all QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure that all rigging and lifting activities are delivered in accordance with Company lifting codes and standards & specifications.
- Ensure all rigging and lifting tools and equipment have valid certification and maintained well and stored as per the company standards & specifications.
- Coordinate with garage team for proper implementation of PM plans and CM repairs in a timely manner for the Company owned equipment.
- Ensure additional manpower and equipment are sourced externally for emergency activities and optimize wherever possible. Support long term contractors and monitor and report their performances.
Key Job Accountabilities - II
- Verify and approve the non-routine lifting plans of Company activities and of external contractors.
- Ensure the Rigging and Lifting activities are meeting the biweekly schedule.
- Ensure effective toolbox Talks are conducted and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) available for all activities
- Support investigations and recommend corrective actions and monitor the proper implementation.
- Ensure all EOT cranes and plant elevators are well maintained and available for maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
- Approved Third party agency certification as Rigging Supervisor.
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
- 8 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry in Maintenance.
- Knowledge in lifting procedures and codes.
