Part A: Job Specification

Job Purpose

  • Ensure production planning for integrated supply chain planning, ship scheduling, and storage to meet various producers, customer contractual obligations.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

  • Ensure constraints and requirements such as inventory in the tanks, ship schedules and delivery commitments are constantly aligned and compatible to avoid any disruption to producers or upsets in any part of the LNG or NON-LNG Supply Chain.
  • Work environment is constantly changing, and plans must be updated daily with all parties, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Complex technical and commercial environment under considerable time pressure. Regular non-office hours may be required to maintain continuous operations.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Develop reliable loading schedules for RLTO facilities.
  • Coordinate product rundowns with producers, for storage and loading programs.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term forecasts for Non-LNG production and refinery feedstock balance for Ras Laffan Terminal Operator (RLTO).
  • Coordinate with Port Authorities Pilots for request and berthing schedules.
  • Coordinate with RLIC producers, QatarEnergy Sales Operations and RLIC port schedulers to resolve loading conflicts.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Coordinate with RLTO maintenance any planned or unplanned work affecting storage and loading facilities to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor actual versus forecast rundown performance of producers and coordinate corrections as required to ensure accuracy of inventory forecasts.
  • Operate and update the RLTO Storage and Berth System (HIMS).
  • Develop and propose plans for unplanned events impacting storage and loading facilities to mitigate production losses for Production & Planning Lead review.
  • Develop and update scheduling procedures for consistent with relevant agreements and current business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 6 years of experiences in commercial and shipping within oil & gas areas, out of which 5 years as product/ oil scheduler.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling of petroleum products.
