Senior Material Planner - India Recruitment Campaign

Job Purpose

  • Support onshore routine maintenance activities by ensuring required materials and spare parts are available on time while also providing additional support in the area of maintenance planning. Provide technical support for all expansion projects, related to maintenance deliverables and support maintenance activities during dynamic Start Up and facilitate effective transition of projects into sustainable Producing Assets.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Prepare and develop periodic reports for critical and urgent materials identified by end user and facilitate meetings for tracking, follow-up and information sharing for all stakeholders.
  • Resolve requests arising as part of procurement processes in liaison with Procurement, Engineering teams and end users.
  • Support in the procurement of required emergency materials identified by end user for onshore routine maintenance activities.
  • Support in new purchase/replenishment of capital, insurance and repairable materials required for onshore routine maintenance activities as per the approved procedures.
  • Execute Material Master and Bill of Materials updates based on requests raised by end user as per the agreed roles and responsibilities supporting the division objectives.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Support material Write-on and Write-off, WRD (MRS), preservation of stock material, Project hand over processes to facilitate warehouse material management as per the agreed roles and responsibilities supporting the division objectives.
  • Support in technical clarification, local and external repair, and material return process for materials required for onshore routine maintenance as per the agreed roles and responsibilities.
  • Support Baker Hughes (BH) Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) team materials management.
  • Monitor projects spares readiness deliverables to ensure safe, reliable start-up and life cycle maintenance spares of new facilities.
  • Interface between PMT, Maintenance department and other departments to ensure resolution of materials requirements during Project Phase and Operating Asset.

Qualifications

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or petrochemical industry in planning and spares parts management.

Technical and Business Skills

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy and familiar with industry specific computer programs.
