Job Purpose
- Coordinate all field activities during Shutdown (SD) with all stakeholders in assigned area ensuring safety, quality, and execution as per shutdown plan.
Key Job Accountabilities - I
- Coordinate all phases of shutdown activities with the concerned stakeholders to define and review detailed work scope, resource estimates, manpower requirements to build shutdown plans.
- Support the shutdown maintenance contracting strategies by performing pre-bid job walks, scope clarifications, addressing contractor logistical requirements, identifying areas of responsibilities, and acting as interface between external contractor and internal shutdown division.
- Support and follow schedules utilizing approved plans. Gather and inform progress status updates to Planners to accurately reflect projected completion date. Conducts regular field audits to verify reported progress; inputs corrections as needed and troubleshoots and resolves schedule logistic issues for the division.
- Develop work packs for assigned area supporting shutdown plan.
- Review work orders that have been fully planned before issuance for execution and confirm correctness and relevance of the related documents and plans for execution.
Key Job Accountabilities - II
- Participate in Risk Based Work Selection (RBWS) and Lean thinking sessions and leads job clash, SIMOPS reviews.
- Support in resource levelling & crane mapping and determine spares requirement for assigned area/activities.
- Co-ordinate approved procedures and safety instructions to ensure safe shutdown execution.
- Perform shutdown execution, work prioritization, contractor supervision and progress monitoring and communicate to Execution lead.
- Perform pre and post shutdown mobilisation and demobilisations activities, including material return and close out reports for the division.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
- 8 years’ field experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry.
- Good knowledge of Equipment & Maintenance procedures associated with Utilities & Process in Hydrocarbons plants.
Technical and Business Skills - I
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Computer literate, including use of maintenance management system (SAP). PM & MM Modules.
- Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
