Material Analyst

Job Purpose

• Ensure material master database and preservation related activities are carried out in accordance with company P&Ps.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Perform material master creation, standardization and updates. And ensure fulfilling required technical specification, testing and certification.
• Analyse material duplicates and interchangeability across the inventory.
• Ensure availability of the inventory materials in preserved and good condition to meet the plants’ requirements.
• Interface with SMEs and end users to define material specification requirements.
• Liaise with SMEs and QC teams to ascertain quality requirements for materials.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

• Advise warehouse on the MER issues and recommend resolution.
• Develop and implement preservation characteristics for existing and newly created material.
• Train contractor on preservation requirements and oversee effective implementation of preservation across all the warehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

• 6 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Sector.
• In-depth knowledge of specifying MRO, Piping and consumables, related standards and Certification requirement
• Experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers, contractors
