Job Purpose

  • Analysis, coordinate, monitor and report on E&P business/project performance progress, E&P KPIs, budgeting and providing insights to optimize project outcomes for the E&P leadership. Ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects by implementing robust assurance processes.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

  • Role is responsible for use of standard tools for E&P business performance reporting and KPIs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Works independently within agreed work practices and contributes to improvement and streamline business processes.
  • Requires to interact with diverse project teams and stakeholders.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for projects, identifying potential issues that may impact successful delivery. Collaborate with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring mechanisms to track project progress against milestones and timelines. Analyse the project data to identify deviations and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with project plans and industry best practices.
  • Communicate project assurance findings to relevant stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project health and potential risks. Collaborate with project managers to address concerns and implement corrective actions.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Assist in budgeting activities such as liaise with Finance and E&P groups for developing training, travel, E&P activities and third-party yearly budgets, compile and coordinate of preliminary and final budgets for WP&B (Work Program & Budgets), provide analysis on E&P budget, performance reporting and business services to management.
  • Utilise the standardised tools for budgeting and monitoring of the cost performance for reporting out for Engineering and Projects Group.
  • Identify and analyse the types of internal and external reports needed to meet other industry specific reporting needs and customer needs / requirements.
  • Facilitate E&P leadership meetings, monitor and track meetings action items.
  • Act as E&P focal point for Business performance and benchmarking related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, science, or business management.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 6 years’ of in project assurance, risk management and multi-discipline experience within the oil & gas industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
