System Support Specialist

Job Purpose
- Provide Supplier Relations Management (SRM) Materials Management (MM) and systems support expertise to ensure the efficiency, compliance and liability of supply department digital platforms. Coordinate with end users, IT, and governance teams to maintain system integrity among manage IP change requests, and support enhancements aligned with QatarEnergy LNG management system (QLMS) and popped it governance framework.
Key Job Accountabilities - I
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP MM and related systems, providing technical guidance and user support to maintain business continuity and compliance.
- Coordinate and execute business controls system access requests, ensuring proper authorization, segregation of duties and risk mitigation in line with internal audit and QLMS requirements.
- Compile and review all Business Support Investment Committee (BSIC) initiatives within the Supply department to ensure alignment with departmental system needs and technologic advancements.
- Identify and propose new and / or emerging supply related software and hardware enhancements to improve automation, user experience, and data visibility.
- Collaborate and track all relevant IT Change Requests (ITCRs) and other system related demands, ensuring objectives, timeline and implementation outcomes are achieved to meet department objectives.
Key Job Accountabilities - II
- Coordinate with the IT focal points to ensure Supply department requirements and system roadmaps are aligned with Corporate IT and digitalisation objectives demand plan.
- Prepare and deliver system related training and awareness workshops for Supply department and other stakeholders to enhance business performance and system knowledge.
- Provide analysis and prepare reports on systems performance, risks, and incident trends to ensure business continuity, and support management decision making.
- Design and maintain SharePoint, dash boards, and other data repository platforms to ensure timely reporting, data accuracy, and accessibility across the supply function.
- Conduct system audits and performance reviews to identify process gaps, propose corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in system utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, information technology, or computer science.
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
- 8 years of experience in supply system administration, or system enhancement role within large organisation.
- Sound knowledge of SAP MM.
- Familiarity with QLMS TOFA, BSIC & MOC documentation procedures.
