QLMS Specialist

Job Purpose

• Implement, facilitate and maintain a world class Company – wide Qatargas Management System (QGMS). Design and deliver the assigned components of the Qatargas Management System (QGMS) and act as designated area’s focal point for ongoing support and continuous improvement activities.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Advise Head of QGMS to develop work plan to implement QGMS in areas designated by Leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional process teams to implement agreed work plan to transform or improve the selected business processes. Analyse process-related performance issues, recommend improvements and facilitate stakeholder endorsement of process changes.
• Coordinate with Process Owners and ensure timely progress of the approved Implementation Plan and report progress to Steering Committee.
• Following implementation, attend periodic Process Governance Committee meetings and evaluate effectiveness of the business processes.  Advise Process Owners on resolving any performance issues.
• Uphold QGMS principals and Ensure adherence to the QGMS Framework in areas of designated expertise by coordinating assessment schedules, and monitoring and reporting on the closure of gaps to management.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

• Train business process improvement team leads and QGMS Champions to ensure their success in transforming, and subsequently maintaining their business processes.
• Develop and deliver QGMS training, ranging from general awareness to specific management system requirements for advanced competences; monitor effectiveness of training and assist in periodically reporting results to management.
• Represent QGMS as a subject matter expert on methodologies, toolkits and training to uphold fitness for purpose.
• Coordinate with Process Owners in maintaining QGMS compliance and executing agreed audit findings and agreed process changes.
• Promote, coordinate and analyse Continuous Improvement (CI) program. Identify and realize CI opportunities at all levels be coordinating regular CI cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Applied Sciences or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

• 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or with a management consulting firm with at least 5 years in the area of management systems design and implementation.
• Demonstrable experience in process improvement and change management in complex environments.
