Key Job Accountabilities

1.  Provide focused delivery of offshore & onshore project execution plans/strategies, by offering expertise and timely support to develop firm and flawless execution strategies.
2.  Ensure timely support and guidance to all PMTs while managing with all the key elements of project execution.
3.  Steward Major Projects Approved Vendor List (MP-AVL), lessons learned, information management, project execution documentations, interface management, site and yard assessments, project handover, all post gate-5 activities including project closeout.
4.  Demonstrate efficient and robust reviews of Project Management of Change, issues and technical risks, and early planning for all the Major Projects Group (MPG) and any services per executive directives, and/or as specifically defined in individual Execution Planning division (EPD) team objectives.
5. Ensure Safety and Environmental alerts are considered and addressed timely and thorough Project Reviews while providing the defined unbiased contribution to delivering quality & flawless execution of our Major Projects.
6. Manage outcomes on all PMT Gate deliverables per the approved Project Roadmap, from the perspective of the QatarEnergy LNG pillars, policies and procedures, QLMS framework & policy, operational L2 / L3 processes, and MPG P&Ps, while ensuring the adherence and compliance.
7. Conduct comprehensive Project Strategic Reviews to guarantee alignment with QatarEnergy LNG Strategic Pillars, emphasizing Execution and Planning within the Framework of QLMS principles.
8. Represent EP&S in TechCom, PLT meetings and support PMTs in technical studies, workshops, and execution related workshops to ensure standardised processes are effective, fit-forpurpose, reflect best practices and the most effective technology to deliver project execution while customer expectations are met.
9. Provide guidance to projects on engineering and execution strategies to optimize organizational schedules and costs. Evaluate technical project management change orders processes, ensuring adherence to departmental standards, and conducting necessary reviews to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuously improving processes, policies, and procedures withing QatarEnergy LNG Major Projects Group to prevent any “Erosion of Standards.’

Job Purpose

• Ensure compliance with the strategic plan, QatarEnergy LNG Management Systems (QLMS) Framework, QGPM process, and QGPMS Policy to achieve project outcomes in addition to aligning with Major Projects Executive directives focusing on strategic pillars, addressing defined issues & opportunities, strategic goals, strategic initiatives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for future years. Implement strategic reviews, project governance, and assurance processes for Major Projects teams.

Person Specification - Minimum Requirement

We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a minimum of 15 years in major projects within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with large operators, demonstrating strong leadership and expertise in managing complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Oil and Gas experience.

Knowledge and Experience

• 15 years diversified and multi-disciplinary experience in a multinational oil and gas company with 5 years in supervisory level role.  Proven record of managerial / leadership excellence experience.

Technical and Business Skills

• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
• Strong technical and commercial knowledge.
• Strong computer literacy
